Gerald Dean Curtis

June 10,1945 - February 25, 2022
 
Gerald (Jerry) Curtis, 76, passed away in the quiet of his home February 25, 2022.  He was surrounded by his family as he entered the arms of Jesus. 
 
He is survived by his wife Suzanne (Mickie), his two daughters, Kimberly Wiesinger and Shelby Kibbe (Craig), five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
 
He retired from Goodyear in 2000.  He joined the Kansas Army National Guard in 1961 and retired in June 1985.  He served in Vietnam and then flew crane helicopters for the Guard until his retirement as a Major.  After his retirement he enjoyed his family and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed carpentry, traveling, and spending time with his pals at McDonald's. 
 
A celebration of life will be held April 2, 2022 at 2pm at the Kansas National Guard Museum.
