Jacquelyn (Jackie) Kay Natalie
November 08, 1943 - October 06, 2021
Jackie passed away peacefully October 6, 2021 after a very lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's at the age of 77 years and 11 months. She was born November 8, 1943 to her parents Melvin and Isla Herbert in Holton, Ks. They preceeded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Kirk, son Kevin (Stacy), grandsons Aaron (Morgan), Connor, two great grandchildren Brooks Robert and Wren Charlotte, brother Terry Herbert (Pam), nieces Natalie Ryan, Trina Anderson and nephew Paul Ryan, grandniece Haylee Canfield and one special friend Betty Fergola.
Jackie and Kirk were united in marriage April 25th 1964.
She worked for ATSF Railway, now BNSF Railway for 33 years as a secretary in the claims department before retiring. After retiring she was a very active member in the Tecumseh United Methodist Church working with children and helping them with their arts and crafts.
She loved music and was a huge Elvis fan and the Rock and Roll songs of the 50's and 60's. In her own right she had a beautiful singing voice and was an excellent pianist. She loved to read, but two of her greatest passions were making flower arrangements and painting. We are pretty sure that Hobby Lobby noticed a large decline in sales when she was no longer able to continue the hobbies that she so dearly loved.
A graveside service will be conducted on November 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations can be made to Tecumseh United Methodist Church, Tecumseh, Ks 66542.
