Lesia Raye Graham

August 22, 1962 - August 01, 2019

Lesia Raye Graham, 56, was born August 22nd, 1962 in Homestead, Florida, 

the daughter of Letha Inez Graham and Raymond Graham.
She spent her
early years in Florida with her grandmother and extended family before 
moving to Kansas with her parents in the early 1970's where she remained
for a few years before moving to the East Coast. She moved back to Kansas
in the late 1980's to care for her aging mother in Paola, ks.

Lesia worked in the Health care industry as a CNA, CMA, and LPN. She also held
positions in the Electronics manufacturing industry, in the retail sector, and
in the floral and greenhouse operations as a manager. Her most recent position
was with the Capper Foundation where she greatly enjoyed caring for her 
clients both at the main center and at their homes.

Lesia had many interests and hobbies which included reading, browsing 
through bookstores, and writing. Lesia also enjoyed walking, trail hiking with her beloved 
dogs, biking, swimming, and traveling across the United States which 
she enjoyed immensely. Lesia looked forward every season to working in
her flower and vegetable gardens and was always happy to share her 
harvest with family, neighbors, and friends. Lesia was also an excellent
cook and baker and was well known for her amazing cake creations
which she enjoyed making for family and friends.

Lesia and Pat came together in the spring of 1993 and shared a rich and
wonderful life together for 26 years.

Lesia passed away August 1st 2019 from cancer at her home surrounded
by her family and beloved pets. 

Lesia was proceeded in death by her grandmother, and parents. 
Patrick Martinez survives of the home. Other survivors include,
Cathy Lynn Chancy, Kenneth Raymond Graham, Raynard Kelly Graham,

A Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday,
August 24th at 1:00 PM at the New Hope and Love Community Church,
2901 S.W. Eveningside Drive, Topeka, Kansas 66614.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the 
Helping Hands Humane society.
