Roger Dale Hull

February 17, 1947 - March 24, 2021

Roger Dale Hull, 74, of Emporia, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Newman Regional Hospital.  He passed from complications from Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Preceding him in death are his parents, William R. and Betty J. Hull, his brother, Bill J. Hull, his in-laws, Wayne E. and Betty J. Albin, and his sister-in-law Patty Albin.

Roger graduated from Emporia High School class of 1965, served in the Air Force and attended Emporia State University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  In 2007, he retired as a brakeman for Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

Roger’s loving memory lives on in the hearts of his wife of almost 40 years, Judy Hull, his children, Jennifer Hull of Kansas City, MO, Jamie Hull and Jonathan Hull (Keri) and granddaughter Hannah Hull all of Emporia. He wished to not have a service and contributions were made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. 

Roger was a wonderful spouse, father and grandfather.  He loved family time, fishing, reading, ball games, attending plays and concerts, traveling, feeding the squirrels in his backyard, and collecting coins, model cars, trains, etc.  Roger was always ready to go on a new adventure!
