Donna Lisa Villalobos

Donna Lisa Villalobos

July 19, 1967 - September 25, 2020

Donna Lisa Villalobos, 53, passed away on September 25, 2020, in Topeka. She was born July 19, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Don and Grace Villalobos. She graduated from Topeka High school in 1985. She attended Washburn University. Donna worked for several local employers before she began her career with the railroad. First with BNSF Railroad in Topeka then with CSX Railroad in Jacksonville, Florida. After 20 years with the Railroad Donna was forced to leave her job due to health issues. Donna made so many great friends through her work and while living in Florida. She was so sweet, kind and generous to everyone she met. Always so positive even during the toughest of times. Donna loved gathering with friends, family reunions, dining out, collecting and sharing recipes, playing board games and shopping online. Donna never had children of her own but really loved kids. Often showering the neighborhood children with gifts and treats on birthdays and holidays.

Donna loved sharing FB posts of babies and children. She had her favorite posts that she viewed often because they made her laugh. And anyone that knew Donna knew what a beautiful laughter she had. She truly adored her many nieces and nephews and loved sharing their pictures. Donna enjoyed traveling especially to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She would say even though she couldn't walk around, due to health issues, she was perfectly happy sitting in a beautiful ocean front condo just enjoying the view.  She was preceded in death by her father, Don Villalobos. Donna is survived by her mother, Grace Villalobos: brothers Adam Villalobos (Rose), Al Villalobos (Maria); sisters Anita Villalobos, Vera Rissen (Earl). She also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives whom she loved dearly. Donna had such a fondness for animals and would often share FB posts and videos of birds, cats and dogs. Memorial contributions can be made directly to the Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka or go to American Cancer Society Making Strides of St Louis presented by Heubel Shaw Material Handling and donate to Donna's Breast friends team. In lieu of flowers or memorial contribution, the family would ask that you carry on Donna's kindness, generosity, and compassion for others by doing something kind for someone in need. Donna was cremated and services are pending due to the pandemic.
