DECEMBER 21, 1939 - JUNE 21, 2025
Anna Rose (Moore) Bennett, 85, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on June 21, 2025, following a battle with dementia.
Born and raised in Topeka, Anna dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. In 1956, she married the love of her life, Leonard Bennett, Jr., also of Topeka. They shared many years of love and partnership before his passing.
Anna was the mother of four children: Anna Adams, Sandra Noll, John Bennett, and Leonard Bennett III. She loved her kids deeply and took great pride in the families they raised.
Anna was the proud grandmother of six: Kaylee Noll, Brian Adams, Michael Adams, Sonya Murray, Jayna Bennett, and Daryl Bennett, and the joyful great-grandmother of eleven: Ravyn Adams, Max Adams, Ivan Adams, Wyatt Adams, Peyton Murray, Rylee Murray, Madison Murray, Tess Murray, Torah Murray, Tripp Murray, and Louie Albright. Her face always lit up when the kids were around—she loved being surrounded by family. She was happiest outside on a nice day, sharing laughs over a game of bingo, or sitting in church among friends. Her dog was never far from her side, and she had a soft spot for an ice-cold RC Cola and a bag of Lay’s chips—her signature snack combo, and something her family will always remember her by.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services held. Anna will be cremated and laid to rest privately.
