Billy Franklin Hennessee, 73, passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at home with his family by his side. He was born to Clyde & Famey Hennessee Sept. 30, 1946.
Billy graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka in 1964 He joined the Navy, which he served 4 years in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1969. He
then married Dorothy Becker in 1969 and were married 17yrs. They have 3 children.
Billy worked for beer distribution companies, General Foods Corporation, and several auto sales companies. He especially loved selling corvettes. He retired in 2004 and moved back
to his hometown of Leslie, Arkansas where he loved the peace, quiet, and beauty of the Ozark mountains. Bill loved his family, telling jokes, woodworking, and spending time with his
grand kids. He also loved dirt track racing, NASCAR, Chiefs football, and a cold Coors Light.
Billy was proceeded in death by his mother Famey Kuhn, stepdad Earl Kuhn, father Clyde Hennessee, and a brother Herschell Hennessee.
He is survived by his brother: Ronnie (Cheryl) Hennessee. Daughters: Melissa (Larry) Watkins, Valerie Hennessee, Son: Anthony (Nicole) Hennessee. 10 Grandchildren: Megan, Justin,
Jeremy, Crystal, Katlyn, Kelsee, Samantha, Jaylie, Kage, Kinnik, & Maddyson. And 4 Great grandchildren.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" Saturday February 22 from 3-6pm at:
