"Cindy" as she was affectionately known by all who cared for her, passed on Sunday, May 3rd at 1:09 pm. She was surrounded by family and close friends. Cindy leaves behind three daughters, Kaylee, Kayla, Kristie. Seven grandchildren, Preston, Leon, Tristan, Roland, Lucien, Alliyah, Hailey. She is also survived by her mother Twila Yvonne Phillps; her brothers Timothy, Jeff, and Chris; her sisters Cheri, Tasha, and Melissa. Her father John Cott; sister Tina; brothers Johnny and Randy preceded her in her death.
Cindy will be remembered as a truly caring soul. She was always giving, even if it was the last of what she had; having a big heart was one of the few amazing things about her. So many people remember her as always being honest and genuine; someone you could always count on. If Cindy wanted something done she would make it happen and. She was stubborn and driven and overcame so many adversities and obstacles. In her lifetime, though it was cut short far too quickly; she achieved so much. She beat cancer when the odds were stacked against her in every way and then she lived cancer free for the rest of her life. She was a survivor and inspired us all.
In her life there were so many achievements and even more talents. She loved horses and the outdoors and creating a wonderful life for her children and grandchildren. There is a huge, empty void left in her absence and we will cherish the memories.
Cindy was mom, mimi, grandma, sis, and a friend to us all. She was the one you could call to save you and know she would always be there when you needed her the most. Cindy would tell you "matter of fact" how things were and it was always the truth; it was always what you needed to hear. We all loved and adored Cindy and she was family to us all. The world feels so lackluster without her here.
