Day David Hall

 

Day was a dedicated outdoorsman and a lifelong coon hunter. His passion for the sport led him to remarkable success in competition coon hunting, where he even achieved the prestigious honor of winning a world hunt several times. He educated many on the art of dog handling and introduced them to the thrill of coon hunting. His love for the outdoors was evident in every aspect of his life, and he found great joy in the camaraderie and skill that came with hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed spending hours at the casino with his beloved wife. 

 

Beyond his passion for hunting, Day was a hardworking businessman who owned and operated The Tire Cutters in Centralia, Kansas.  

 

Day is survived by his wife, Linda Hall of Centralia; six daughters, Angela (Courtney) Seward of Topeka, Christina (George) Warren of Auburn, Jennifer (Joseph) Duncan of Tecumseh, Sherri Lindsey of Centralia, Michelle Frederick of Centralia, and Jeanette Hall of Leavenworth as well as three sons, James Lindsey of Centralia, Dae Hall of California, Robert Hall of Stafford. He also leaves behind over 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.  

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.  

 

Day’s legacy lives on through the family he loved and the many lives he touched through his passions and work. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
