Donald R Barba passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at the age of 60. He was born on October 28, 1964, to
Margaret Shields and Augustine Barba.
Donald Barba was married to Mary Slater on October 18, 1997, she survives. Together they raised 5 children.
Donald leaves behind 8 grandchildren He was the best Loving and understanding Pappa to all of his grandchildren.
Donald Barba's wonderful extended family was everyone that he worked with at Pomp's tire service for 12 years.
Donald's mother Margaret Shields and Donald's father-in-law George Slater, Senior; Proceeded him in death.
A celebration of life will be held on May 9, 2025 at 11am at Victory 2622 SE 6th ST Topeka, KS 66607. The family invites all who are unable to attend to please join us with remembering Donald Barba through thoughts and prayers.

My daddy was the best daddy in the whole wide world. “I’m your ONLY daddy in the whole wide world,” he would say. And for that, I am so incredibly lucky!! My daddy was strong, funny, caring, protective, loyal, and loving above all else. He never ever let me down and I miss him so incredibly much! I feel as though a piece of me is missing and I don’t really know how to just be anymore. Existing itself is hard? There is so much I still wanted to talk to you about and so many memories I still had planned for us. I hope that you are still close by…guiding me. I know you are. I love you daddy | almost as much as the “bear necessities”. I miss you ever single minute of every single day. Life will not ever be the same without you.
