Harold Eugene Dick, born to Arnold and Ruth (Baker) Dick on August 7, 1937, Topeka, Kansas.
Harold attended Dawson Grade School then joined Marine Corp in March 1955, where he received and Honorable Discharge after serving in Okinawa Japan March 1959. At that time he moved to California with his sister Darlene and received his GED from Downey High School, CA and worked for Aerojet.
While in California he had a Auto parts house, owed his own bar and had a band. He was an active member of Moose Lodge.
Harold moved to Kansas in late 1982-early 1983. Harold worked for John Hoffer as a service writer, then later for Jayhawk Body Shop as a salesman, he retired and started working part time at Davidson Funeral Home and Meals on Wheels.
He was an Avid NASCAR fan particularly Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Harold didn't have any children of his own he chose Nancy LaValley as his daughter, and two young boys 10 and 12 Marcus, and Gabriel Taylor. Harold had many fur-babies, but never forget Rusty his main partner in crime always by his side.
Survived by his wife Jan K Patterson, married October 25th, 1997 and his brother, Oren Dick of Topeka, Terri Troth, Jerry wife Chris Dick, Topeka,Dorthy Stanton and Kathy Clark , Arkansas, Steven wife Sheri Peters, CA, Jim Paine, WI and several nieces and nephews not mentioned but dearly loved by him.
He predeceased by his parents and sister Darlene Dean and sister Margie Hawthorn.
Honoring Harold's request, cremation is planned by Angels Above. No services have been scheduled at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at Amigos Mexican Restaurant, 10 October 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00pm, located at 5145 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka for family and close friend on.
