Jeannette Hamm, 75, passed away on September 4th, at Countryside Health Clinic in Topeka, Kansas.
Jeannette was born on October 15, 1949 in Topeka, Kansas to Dean Hamm and Viola Row. She attended Shawnee Heights High School and received her GED.
Although she faced challenges every day of her life, Jeannette had a feisty and adventurous spirit. Once she set her mind and heart on something, good luck talking her out of it! Her independence was so important to her. She had her mother's passion of needle work, with her favorite being cross stich. She loved the occasional trip to Prairie Band Casino, and all craft stores around town including Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart, and her favorite way to end her day was with a serving of her favorite vanilla ice cream and a Pepsi. She was a loving sister and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wilfred “Dean” Hamm, mother, Viola Row, Stepfather Bill Row, and Brother-in-Law Jeff Wishert.
Other survivors include: Siblings Michael Hamm (Marilyn), Paul Hamm, Phil Hamm (Greta), and Lori Wishert. Nephew Austin Hamm and Nieces Paula Hamm Benson, Jill Morrow (Scott), Ashley Hamm, Cassandra Holm (Ryan), Alexandra Swaner (Nicholas), and Leandra Bryan (Trenton), and many great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at Snyder’s Cabin in Gage Park from 6-8pm on September 24th, 800 SW Porter Rd Topeka, KS 66606.
