1967 – 2025
Jeffery Allan Wools, 58, of Auburn and Topeka, passed away surrounded by love Sep 9, 2025. For 11 years, he was a devoted husband to Emily and a proud dad to Justin (28), stepson Connor (17), and daughter Eva (11). He was also the fun-loving grandpa of Sterling (7) and Hudson (5).
Jeff could fix anything with an engine, a talent he carried through his career at LKQ and later as a trusted contractor and handyman. Known for his integrity, humor, and one-of-a-kind personality, he left his mark on every person he met.
In 2014, Jeffery gave his life to Christ and was baptized—a moment that transformed him and shaped the man he would continue to become. His faith played an instrumental part in his integrity, guiding the way he lived, worked, loved, and forgave.
He loved blacklights, antiques, old buildings, and being “just a little weird” in the very best way. His whistle, laughter, and energy will be remembered always.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna, and is survived by his wife, children, grandsons, father LeRoy, brother Curt, sister Lisa, and many nieces and nephews.
Jeffery’s light will keep glowing in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Jeff’s “Party of a Lifetime” will be held at Gage Adaptive recreation building in Gage Park Sep 20 6-8pm
I'll see you when I get there, Cousin! You were an awesome friend!
