Jennifer Anessia Simons

September 19, 1970 - April 29, 2021

Jennifer Anessia Simons, 50, of Osage City, KS went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 29, 2021.

Born on September 19, 1970 in Wellington, KS. 

She graduated from Belle Plaine High School then attended Friends University and Newman University. 

She attended New Spring Church in Wichita, KS. 

Jennifer was a faithful follower of Jesus, a passionate Trump supporter, loved to fish and camp, and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for others. She was spunky, full of personality, and lived life on her own terms. She loved to debate and stay up-to-date on politics. She enjoyed watching the Food Network and law or crime television. Jennifer didn’t know a stranger, loved to converse with everyone, and was a kind and loving friend (who would give anyone the shirt off her back), and a caretaker to all. 

She is survived by her parents Jeannie (John) Wingert, and Mike (Terry) Tyson, her three children Victoria (Darrell) Magwire, Austin Simons and Payton Simons, her high school sweetheart Branon Genette, grandchildren Braelynn and Daniel Magwire, siblings Bridgitte (Howard) Peterson, Natasha (Zach) Shelton, Michael Tyson, Heather Walcher, Sheri Casade, and Kristeen Jones, and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends. 

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Belle Plaine Cemetery in Belle Plaine, KS. 

There will be a light luncheon after the service. All friends and family are welcome to attend at the Community Center, 528 N Merchant St, Belle Plaine, KS 67013.
