Norma Falk Haefke passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. Norma was born February 6, 1930, in Mc Farland, Ks. the daughter of Eugene and Alice LaMar. The birth of Norma’s sister JoHanna completed their family on February 13, 1942. JoHanna lives in Pompano Beach, Florida with her husband Terry. Their two sons., Craig and Curtis also live in Pompano with their families.
Norma married Don Falk, they had three children, Ron Falk, Stephanie Falk Abbott, and Mark Falk. Norma was wife, mother, and Grandmother first and foremost.
Norma’s life journey consisted of working outside the home in the Alma Cheese plant office, United Telephone as a telephone operator, before there were dial telephones, restaurant owner and retiring from Rubottom Pharmacy. And losing her first husband Don in 1983.
Norma found new love with John Haefke, they married on August 29, 1992. Norma and John loved going to dances and spending time with family. John preceded her in death on Dec 15, 2012.
Norma loved to cook and host her family during the holidays and as often as she could gather us together.
Norma was a member of St. John’s Lutheran church of Alma, KS and a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church of McFarland, KS.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Alice Lamar, her husband and father of her children Don Falk, her Husband John Haefke, daughter Dee Falk, her youngest son Mark Falk
Norma is survived by her children: Ron Falk, Stephanie and Bob Abbott and Coleen Falk.
Grand children: Angela and Chris Brown, Troy and Jeffery Abbott, Heather and Mike Crince, Chris and Jennifer Falk, Josh and Lindsay Falk, and Jared Falk.
Great Grandchildren: Amanda, Derrick and December, Kaylee, Hunter and Tyler, Hanna and Mark, Taylor, Haidyn, Mason, Owen, and Wyatt.
Great-Great Grandchildren: Brynn, Ivy and Ember, Willow and Wren.
Memorial Service will be January 8, 2022, 10:00 AM at St John’s Lutheran Church, 218 W 2nd St, Alma Kansas, 66401
