Pastor Latham served as Church Planter with the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board in Sacramento, California and later became a lead pastor for other churches in Kansas. Throughout his time serving in ministry he also spent the majority of his years serving bi-vocationally in the mechanic industry, warehouse management and furniture repair. After retiring in 2018, he continued to serve in pulpit supplying at Lighthouse Bible Church, discipleship ministry and children's music ministry. Larry was passionate about reaching those whom did not know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He didn't know a stranger and if you met him out in public it would feel as though you already knew him because of the way he loved everyone. Larry has touched countless lives while pastoring, disciplining, leading, mentoring, and friend.
In the most recent years he enjoyed reading, playing pickleball, fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
