Phillip Wayne Dolezilek
June 29, 1955 - July 12, 2003
Phillip Wayne Dolezilek, 68, passed away Wednesday July 12, 2023. He was born June 29, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to Harold H. and Norma J. (Crites) Dolezilek.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Cherie Hopkins of Topeka, Kansas.
He graduated from Highland Park High school in 1973. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy. He was stationed in Norfolk, VA where he served as an electrician aboard the USS California for 4 years.
After being honorably discharged in 1977 he transferred to the Naval Reserve. He also went to work for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., as a tire builder, until he retired in 2017.
He is survived by his sisters Pamela Dolezilek and Stephany (Dolezilek) Hopkins husband Stephen and his brother Steven Dolezilek wife Debbie, all of Topeka, Kansas .He is also is survived by nieces Michelle Clark-Galvan, of Topeka, Kansas and Ashley (Dolezilek) Turman of Overland Park, Kansas.
Phillip will be cremated and his memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
