Read Prayers and Memory's for “Richard Wayne Karnowski”

  • I still can't believe you're gone.  For the longest time it was just me and you and nobody will understand the special bond we had.  I will miss your laugh, corny jokes and listening to our favorite songs together.  I wish you knew how loved you are but I will remind you every day.  Rest easy little brother.  Big sis loves you.  Until I see you again.

  • Richard, you weren't just my big brother, you were my best friend and constant companion. Every childhood memory I have includes you. I don't know many big brothers that would willingly hang out with their little sister the way you did. I loved the time we spent together fishing, riding our BMX bikes, playing at the fairgrounds, cruising the boulevard when we were in high school, playing Dungeons and Dragons and delivering Penny Powers. I have so many memories of "Put your finger in there" or "Nikki come listen to this". Even when you and I were adults you were still my best friend and I could always count on you. You never hesitated to come to my rescue or include me in whatever you were doing. I will miss the 2-hour long conversations on Sunday mornings about everything and nothing at all. I hope that you felt just how much I love you. I miss you. I will always miss you and I will always love you.

  • What does a mother say about her only son when they have been separated by a death that made no sense... you loved your family and friends fiercely... you.had so many gifts and talents... you were such a jokester... you were so loved  and will be  fiercely missed and loved... the girls said it all....so there isn't much left to say except that, you left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled ... I know when you hit those pearly gates to heaven you were greeted by God with open arms and he directed you toward our family and friends that preceded before you... no parents should ever have to bury their child... I pray you know how much you were and are so loved... gone but never forgotten...I love you son... rest in peace ... your mama
