Dear Kathy
I am so sorry of the loss of your father. sending you and your family my thoughts and prayers.
Love Linda
To all the family, I want you to know what a profound impact Bob had on my life. He was my Industrial Arts teacher at Landon Jr. High and he introduced me to my first lessons in mechanical drawing. I still have every drawing, with his red pencil corrections and notes, from that class. Along with every item I drew up and made in wood shop classes. From my first pine sanding block , to the pine plant stand, mahogany sewing box and onto the prized turned birds eye maple vase. He guided me through the use of all the saws, wood planes, power tools, with the highlight of mastering the wood lathe. I have carried that base knowledge and inspiration throughout my life. I am forever gratful for Bob's patience and guidance in putting up with that squirrely, skinny, smart ass kid that loved to draw and make sawdust.
May Bob be now at peace and may peace be with you all.

Carolyn,
we’ll miss Bob. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
To the family of Bob Davenport, please know you are in our prayers.
Mr Davenport was my Landon junior high shop teacher and basketball coach. 25 or so years later my wife and I were lucky enough to hire Bob and Carolyn to build the house we still live in. When you build a house you typically interview several builders and decide from there. Our first and only interview was with Bob and Carolyn, it just felt right.
Carolyn ran the books, Bob mostly supervised, son Mark and son-in-law Brad did most of the hands-on work. After our house was completed Bob told me he never had a homeowner do as much work as I did - a great compliment and a great summer!

Carolyn & Family -
Our deepest condolences to you all at the passing of Bob.
He was a very caring, patient and talented man. We are still enjoying the home he built for us, 23 years later. Not a day passes that we don't think about the decisions he helped us make and we're so pleased for his expertise.
He was truly and pleasure to work with, as was Mark & Brad.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time.
