December 21, 1957 - February 24, 2023
Rocklyn (Rocky) Rene’ Leister passed away at her home in Topeka, Kansas on February 24th, 2023. Rocky was born December 21, 1957 in Clay Center Kansas, the youngest daughter of Sam & Ellie Milner, who preceded her in death. She was raised in Silver Lake Kansas and graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1975. Rocky held many jobs in her lifetime including secretary, librarian, bartender, and business owner until various illnesses forced her to retire in her mid-fifties. She enjoyed many hobbies - fishing, playing guitar, reading, crafts, and any good party. She loved spending time on motorcycles and coordinating events and rallies.
Rocky is survived by two daughters, Amanda Hay (Eric) and Molly Howey (John) both of Silver Lake, two sisters, Rhonda Jensen of Topeka and Raylene Gardner (Richard) of Cushing, Oklahoma. She leaves behind six grandchildren, Mackenzie Howey, Hallie Hay, Cody Hay, Kyla Hay, Haven Howey, and Axton Howey along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life for Rocky’s family and friends will be held from 6:30 - 9:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #3, 3616 SE Memory Point, Topeka, KS 66609.
