Sandra Ann Howard

Sandra Ann Howard, 78, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on November 30, 2025.

She was born on August 21, 1947, in Iola, Kansas. After graduating from Seaman High School in 1965, Sandy attended beauty school. After doing hair for many years, she later became a medical assistant. She was active in her community as a Youth Group leader at Seaman Baptist Church and active with North Topeka Baptist Church where she shared her love of the Lord. Sandy loved flowers and butterflies, cooking and was an avid fan of the Food Network.

On October 25, 1980, she married Bob Howard, with whom she shared a loving life of over 45 years. He survives of the home. Sandy is survived by her two children, Greg Nocktonick and Tava Saia (Shane), six grandchildren; and was a Gigi to two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Melva Jean Mize (Charlie), She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Brooks; and her parents, Melvin and Dorothy Jean Brooks.

Sandy will be remembered for her warmth and love of her Lord and Savior Jesus, her devotion to her family, and the joy she found in sharing meals and fellowship with those she loved.  She was well known by her nickname “Bulldog” which she acquired by taking care of Bob.

No public services are planned. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
