  • I'm so sorry to lose my Sister (In-Law), Shirley.   We "talk" every day since she's been gone and I can imagine how happy she must be back with Jim and Jimmy and all her family waiting for her in heaven.  Love you and miss you Sister!

  • I lovingly told my mother a couple of months ago that I was sure her calling in life was to bring children to faith in God.  Mom frequently told us the story of how she brought her younger siblings to an Episcopal Church every Sunday morning while her parents stayed home.  Likewise, she made sure all of her six children were in church every Sunday morning and brought to other church events as well.  I still remember the sound of the loud operatic voice of Mario Lanza booming from the stereo waking us up to get dressed for church.  Three of my brothers were acolytes and I sang in the church choir.  If it wasn't for our mother's diligence in making sure we attended church, I am not so sure that her children would have been brought to such a faith in God.  Thank you, Mom, for the gift of faith!
