AUGUST 1, 1963 - AUGUST 9, 2024
Susan J. Babb ,61, of Topeka, KS passed away August 9th 2024 at Midland Care Connection’s Hospice House.
She was born August 1, 1963 to Faryl B. and Ella J. Babb.
Susan grew up in Topeka, KS and graduated from Highland Park high school in 1981. After graduation, Susan worked as a homemaker. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest gift and she loved them immensely. She was Catholic and found great comfort in her spirituality. She loved camping, swimming and traveling. She also loved county road driving, country music, and the outdoors. A beer at the lake surrounded by her kids and grandkids was an idea of a perfect day for her. She loved playing board games, crossword puzzles and puzzles with her children and grandchildren. She was known for her feisty spirit and carried that to the end.
Susan was preceded in death by an infant brother, Faryl Babb Jr. and survived by her daughters, Melissa Attebery (Travis Butchee), Sarah Nelson (Joel Tindall) and Elizabeth (Zach) Emami. A sister, Sheryl (Don) Hanshaw, brothers Steven Babb, Galen (Dina) Babb and Kevin Babb. Grandchildren, Thomas Babb, Lydia Babb, Jonathon Nelson, Frederick Nelson, Noah Attebery, Natalie Nelson, Lexie Attebery, Jackson Tindall, Bentley Butchee, Victoria Emami, Tiffany Butchee and Jameson Tindall. And, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faryl B. and Ella J. Babb.
Celebration of life will be held August 23rd, 2024 at the Goodyear Shelter House 2501 NW Old Indianola Rd, Topeka, KS 66618.
