  Viola Wood (Vi) 80, passed away on Feb. 19 2024 in Olathe, Ks. Due to medical complications.

  Viola was born to:

Gene Paul Poe, and Margerat Mary Poe (Hogue) in Kansas City. MO. 

  Viola received her G.E.D. Jan. 9 1969. 

  Viola Married James Arthur Maike. 

  Vi had several occupations:

Waitress, Beautician, Convenience Store Employee, Truck Driver, Site Manager at the Senior Center in Wamego KS., and Bank Employee at 1st National Bank in Wamego. 

  Vi was Married to Richard Allen Wood Jr. April 8th 1997.

  Vi was preceeded in death by her parents and Son Jim Maike. 

  Vi was survived by :

Her Husband Rick Wood of the home. 

Two Children : David Maike of Warsaw, Missouri and Teresa Homeyer (Mark)​of St. George, KS. 

And 8 Grandchildren. 

  Vi was a Member of Family Of God Church in Topeka, Ks.

  Vi's service will be held :

Monday Mar 4, Family Of God Church 1231 NW Eugene St Topeka, Ks. 66608 

Visitation :1pm

Service : 2pm
