Anthony Michael Pickens

With the heaviest hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Michael Pickens, who entered this world on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2002, and passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the age of 23.

Anthony was well on his way to building a bright future. He worked alongside his father and brother as an aviation mechanic intern and was studying for his A&P license. He had recently purchased a small camper and was excited to travel, work on airplanes, and explore all that life had to offer.

Anthony possessed a magnetic personality that drew people to him wherever he went. He was charismatic, kind-hearted, and a natural leader. Many looked up to him, and everyone who knew him loved him. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued and welcomed.

Family meant everything to Anthony. He gave the best hugs, never missed an opportunity to kiss his mother and sister on the cheek, and would often share a wink from across the room to remind them how much he loved them. His bright smile and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Anthony had a deep love for music and enjoyed nearly every genre. A talented self-taught musician, he learned to play both the drums and guitar. The music he loved continues to bring comfort to those who miss him most.

He also had a special love for animals. His beloved Husky-Shepherd companion, Caine, now remains as a treasured reminder of the bond they shared.

Anthony will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his loving heart, his infectious smile, and the joy he brought to others. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Crystal Lange; his father, Chris Pickens; his sister, Alexis Lange; his brother, Andrew Pickens; his grandparents, Marvelee and Kevin Hall, and Jim and Sandra Pickens; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lonnie Joe Glover.

Anthony will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
