Connie L. Price “Butterfly woman” 83, Topeka, died Thursday July 17, 2025, at home of natural causes.

She was born on December 11, 1941, in Wamego, the daughter of Merlin A. and Dorothy E. Askren.

She attended Topeka High School and graduated from high school in Torrington, WY. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was an active member at First Christian Church.
She loved butterflies, knitting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ken Price, Topeka, her daughter Angie Faulconer, Topeka, her grandson James Hicks, Topeka, and her extended family, Theresa Hicks, Topeka, Dana Ziegler, Topeka, and Ruth Hein, Sheridan, WY. She has 3 nieces, 2 nephews, and 2 great nieces.

Visitation will be at 10:30 am followed by a celebration of Life at 11am on Saturday August 16, 2025. Held at First Christian Church, 1880 SW Gage, Topeka. A light reception after the service.
