Dean Ray Taylor

Dean R Taylor died Saturday December 21, 2024 in his home with his mother by his side.
Cremation will take place at Angels Above Cremation.

Dean was born December 5th, 1965 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was the fourth child of Davie
and Erika Taylor. His sister Robin cried when she found out it was another boy, she already
had two brothers.

Dean attended and graduated from Highland Park High School, Topeka, KS. Dean was a
musician through and through, he loved music and played with many bands throughout his
life. He loved the outdoors and would spend many days fishing and metal detecting at Lake
Shawnee. Dean was a lifelong Kiss fan and collected a lot of memorabilia from the band.
Music was his passion.

Dean was preceded in death by his father Davie L. Taylor.

He is survived by his mother Erika R Taylor, brothers Dan (Lori) Taylor, David (Audrey)
Taylor, Sister Robin (Keith) Guffy, many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and
nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Dean on February 1st, 2025. Lake Shawnee
Shelter #6, 3521 SE East Edge Road from 10am to 2pm.

Dean’s final thoughts: “It was right there in front of me the whole time. Life is short, live it to
the fullest.”
