Frederick Joel Nicholson
July 13, 1931 - January 22, 2020
Frederick Joel Nicholson, age 88, of Burlington, KS, went home to see his Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Fred was born on July 13, 1931 in Richland, IA the son of Raymond and Kathryn Nicholson. He married Marilyn Thornburg on July 10th, 1955 in Osborne, KS.
Fred was a military veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn of 64 yrs. of marriage, his sons Michael(Teresa), Stephen(Sherry), and David(Cindy). In addition to his sons he is also survived by 14 grand children and 21 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 15th at 2:00 pm at the Christian Church of Burlington 1401 Cross St. Burlington, KS 66839.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Christian Church of Burlington.
