Betty Manka

November 26, 1945 - January 18, 2020

Betty was born November 26, 1945 to Fredrick and Blanche (Scott) McAlister in Burlington, Kansas.
Betty left this life on January 18, 2020 at the age of 74 years old.

Betty lived in Burlington and Lebo Kansas for a lot of her life. She later moved to Peabody Kansas. On February 14, 2001 she married Roy Manka. They loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. After Roy’s passing she moved to Topeka in 2012.

Betty is proceeded in death by her husband Roy, both her parents and two brothers: Donald and Roy McAlister and great grandson David Ryan Childers.

Betty is survived by her sister Chris Hlad of Newton, son Bryan (Diana) McKnight of Osage City, daughter Robin (Brian) Massek and her favorite daughter Barbara Bigger of Topeka. Her 10 grandchildren are Allen (Debra) Childers, Michael (Lauren) Childers, Alyssa (Brandon) Miller, Samantha Massek, Brandy (Kendall) Pressler, Jamie McKnight, Jacob McKnight all of Topeka; John (Jessica) Childers of Pomona, Matthew Massek of Lincoln, NE and Justin McKnight of Osage City. Her 7 great grandchildren are:
Elisabeth, Nathan, Katrina, Noah, Elijah, Layla and Logan.

Memorial service will be at Rolling Hills Health Center on Saturday January 25 at 2:00 and interment will be at Peabody Cemetery at a later date.
