Jared P. Sloop, 39, of Valley Falls, KS, passed away on March 18, 2025, at University of Kansas Health System - St. Francis Campus in Topeka.
Jared was born on June 20, 1985 in Winchester, KS, son of Robert ‘Bob’ and Pamela ‘Pam’ (Frakes) Sloop.
Jared is survived by his sons, Sean and Curtis Sloop, Florida; his daughter, Kaylee Sloop, Valley Falls; his father, Robert Sloop, Valley Falls; siblings, Kasey (Todd) Connelly, Cedar Falls, IA, Justin (Stephanie) Sloop, Easton, KS, and Jordan Sloop, Lawrence, KS; his grandmother Joan Sloop, Osage City, KS; many aunts, uncles, cousins and 10 nieces and nephews.
Jared was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela ‘Pam’ Sloop; grandparents, Ruth Taylor, Arthur ‘Bud’ and Alice Frakes, and William ‘Bill’ Sloop.
A private service will be held at a later date.

Jared always treated me like I was his little sister. Taught me a love for classic rock music. My first taste of guitar. All the rockband sessions at 500. So much of my childhood involves Jared and the whole family.
He gave our family 3 beautiful children, and I'll forever be grateful to him for that. I pray he's at peace. All my love to Bob, Kasey, Justin, and Jordan at this time.
Sean, Curtis, and Kaylee, I love you 3 so much and I know your daddy is smiling down, knowing how absolutely amazing his kids are. Stay strong and Aunt Gab is always here.
