Jordan Joseph Lampl

Jordan Joseph Lampl, 23, of Ogden, Kansas, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka.

Born June 22, 2002, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, Minnesota, Jordan was the beloved son of Joan Lampl and Daryl Lampl, and the cherished brother of Derek Sigurdson.

He grew up in Minnesota, attending kindergarten in Park Rapids before completing grades 1 through 10 at Nevis School. Jordan’s strong work ethic and easygoing nature led him to a career in tree service, working for Jeff’s Professional Tree Service in Nevis, RC Tree Service Inc. in Clarinda, Iowa, and Hummel Tree Service in Manhattan, Kansas.

Jordan had many passions—snowmobiling, fishing, motorcycle riding, and his faith were among them. He was an avid cribbage player, a loyal friend, and someone who could fix just about anything after watching a YouTube video. Known for his infectious humor, Jordan had a gift for making everyone around him laugh and feel welcome.

He had a deep, unwavering love for dogs—especially his own, Bear. Their bond was unshakable, and anyone who saw them together knew it. When he lived at home with his parents, there was always a dog in the house to love and spoil. Jordan was also a devoted family man who spoke with his parents weekly. He shared a special playful rivalry with his dad, Daryl—Sunday mornings before church often began with a wrestling match that Jordan inevitably won.

His best friend, Emery, was a constant in his life. Together they shared countless fishing trips, cribbage games, and hours of old country music, with jokes and laughter never far behind.

Jordan’s kindness, loyalty, and ability to light up a room will be remembered by all who knew him. He gave the best hugs, loved without hesitation, and would do anything for those he cared about—or even for someone simply in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
