Keith Lynn Coleman of Westmoreland, Kansas, passed away on Thursday July 24th. He was born in Nodaway County, Missouri, in 1972. His family moved a few times, but he said, “growing up he always considered Missouri his home”. He attended college there before joining the Army. The Army took him around the world until he met Angela and made Kansas his new home. Keith was very proud of his military career, and he chose to join the American Legion and the VFW, after his time in service. He tried a few careers before finding his place at MCM. He enjoyed mentoring people, whether it was as a driver at MCM, or as a volunteer at the Legion and VFW, he said it gave him purpose.
He leaves behind his wife, Angela, and his stepsons, Anthony and Killian. He is also survived by his mother- Janice Ruth Goosey, Brother- Geoffrey Scott Coleman, Aunt- Mary Jeannette Everhart, Aunt- Kay Ann Coleman, Uncle-Robert Allen Coleman, Aunt-Elizabeth Ann Coleman, and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Lynn Coleman, Grandfather, Robert Lynn Coleman, Grandmother - Doris Geraldine Coleman, Grandmother - Ruth Marjorie Loch, and
Grandfather - Robert Harold Loch
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Manhattan, Kansas (114 McCall Road). It is a true celebration of a life well lived. Please bring something for the potluck and your best story about Keith. On August 23rd, it is from 4:30-6:30 and we will eat at 5:00. Feel free to stay for all or just some of the celebration.
Memorial donations in his name could be made to the American Legion.
