Marsha Kaye Neiswender

Marsha Kaye Neiswender, age 75, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on April 18, 2026, at Midland Hospice surrounded by the love of her family.

Marsha was a devoted wife to Robert Neiswender Jr. and a loving mother to Tony Smith and Mendy Hubbard. She was also a caring stepmother to Rob Neiswender (Terry). Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in the time she spent with them, including her grandchildren, Randi Sack; Rylie Nelson (Drew); Paxton Smith; Colby Neiswender (Chrissia); and Logan Neiswender.

Other survivors include her brother, Randall Hisey; eight great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends, all of whom she was very fond of.

Early in her working career she worked for Ed Marling’s as a parts manager, where she was known for her strong work ethic and reliability. Later in life, Marsha embraced her role as a caregiver and homemaker, dedicating herself fully to caring for others with kindness and compassion.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Allen Hisey.

Marsha dedicated many years to researching her family history and was an active member of the Genealogy Society. She had a true gift for gardening and flowers. Marsha had a creative spirit and a love for junk journaling, a hobby that reflected her appreciation for memories, beauty in everyday things, and personal expression. She had a unique way of turning simple moments into something meaningful.

She will be remembered for her humor, her strength, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial service is Saturday, May 2nd @ 10am at Still Waters Church 4412 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604
