Sharon Kay (Willett) Rawlins

Sharon Kay (Willett) Rawlins, 82, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Sharon was born on November 6, 1943, to Charles and Leone (Bowen) Willett, who preceded her in death. She married Donald Lawrence Rawlins on June 16, 1962, in Miami, Oklahoma. To their union were born two daughters, Kelly Sherene (Clyde) Hall and Kimberly Ann (Dennis) Groesbeck.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Donald Rawlins; daughters Kelly Hall and Kimberly (Dennis) Groesbeck; brother Walter Willett; and sister-in-law Mary Willett. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Justin (Clare) Zabokrtsky, Joshua (Cheyenne) Zabokrtsky, Jason Zabokrtsky, Dakota (Ashley) Hall, Crystal Anne Groesbeck, and granddaughter-in-law Tiffany Hall. Sharon leaves behind 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces, and greatnephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Donald Lawrence Hall; granddaughter Tusdai Nicole Hall; son-in-law Alvin (Clyde) Hall; sisters Beverly (Willett) Todd and Oleta (Watts) Cosby; brother Raymond Gene Willett; and sister-in-law Vicki Willett.

Sharon enjoyed time with her family, bingo, casino trips, and thriftstore shopping. Throughout her life she worked in several occupations before retiring from Sinclair College in Dayton, Ohio. She returned to Topeka in 2012 to be closer to her family, brother, and sisters.
