Roxie Ann McConnaughey
Roxie Ann McConnaughey 82, of Holton, KS, passed away Jan 2nd, 2026, at the Pines in Holton, Kanas.
She was born on Oct 29, 1943, in Holton, KS, the daughter of Eugene and Phyllis (Desbien) Meier.
Roxie graduated from Holton High School in 1962. She was a stay at home mom until her children were older then she worked at hallmark cards in Topeka, KS until retiring from there.
On February 27, 1965, she married James (Jim) McConnaughey, they were later divorced.
Survivors include sister Pauline (Brad) Metzger of Weston, MO, children Julie (Tim) Dugan of Holton, KS, Doug (Jodi) McConnaughey of Topeka, KS, 4 grandchildren Tiffany Dugan of Sedalia, MO, Tavin (Akia) Dugan of Leavenworth, KS, Mason McConnaughey and Matthew McConnaughey of Topeka, KS and 2 great grandchildren Talhia and Torin Dugan of Topeka, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Judith in infancy, and brother Marlin Meier.
Graveside services will be at Mount Calvery Catholic Cemetery, Holton, KS at a later date.
