Sharon Lynn (Bahner) Morris

Sharon Morris, age 92, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 2, 2025. Sharon was born on February 4, 1933, to Frank Herman Bahner and Mary Leone (White) Bahner in Topeka. Sharon graduated from Highland Park High School in 1951, and furthered her education by attending courses at Washburn University.

On August 1, 1954, Sharon married Phil L. Morris, together raising three children: Jennifer (Morris) Pannone, Michael Morris, and Patrick Morris during their 34 years of marriage.

In addition to over 25 years of working in childcare, Sharon was an avid fan of the University of Kansas Basketball team, enjoyed gardening, and was a lover of all animals.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Jeni; son, Pat; and her grandchildren, Morgan Pannone, Michael Anthony Morris, and Benton Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents; her
former husband, Phil; and her son, Mike.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date to honor Sharon's life and legacy. Per Sharon’s request, memorial contributions can be made to Helping Hands Humane Society or Midland Care in Sharon’s honor.
