  • Jill and Family,

I got to spend a lot of time with Sue since becoming Activity Director at OCSL. Sue was an amazing lady, always smiling or cracking jokes. She will be missed. Love you and keep dancing in heaven. - Hopeful (nickname she gave me)

  • Best looking girl at Topeka High School and loved her modeling at Wichers Portrait Studio in the middle and late 50's.  She was also a K-State Wildcat fan and attended K-State U.  We bet she will be pulling for the Cat's Saturday against 'Bama.  Larry B.

  • When Sue came to live at Oak Creek, she and my mom, Phyllis Silkey, became best friends. She and my Mom were so happy together. I loved visiting with Sue during my weekly visits to Oak Creek. Mom and I miss her so much.

  • Sue was a wonderful sister and friend.  Always full of life and laughter.  We were able to spend several winters together at my home in AZ and took two unforgettable trips.  One trip overseas and one to the northeast to see the beautiful fall leaves.  Memories of her and our sister Sally are my heaven on earth.

  • I am so sorry to hear Sue's passing. I can imagine though,  her and Phil's reunion in heaven they loved each other very much. I met her when Phil was going through cancer and they attended the cancer support group that I also attended. She was so supportive and caring to me  on my journey even though she was dealing with Phil's. Even after his passing we continued to be friends and would enjoy meeting for a meal catching up and lots of laughing. I was blessed to have her in my life and I will continue to hold the family in my prayers.

  • My prayers go out to the family of Sue Coleman-Munoz.  Remembering Sue in high school as an adorable, kind girl with the sweetest personality.  Some sixty five years later, as I’d see her frequently at our high school class group luncheons, she was the same lovely girl as she was in her teen years, only now with a wicked sense of humor.

I will miss the “girl” that lights up the room when she enters, and feel privileged to have known her.

  • Sue was a ton of fun to the end which was her lesson for everyone. Sandy and I were lucky to have been able to enjoy her when we lived in KC and Phoenix over many years. We had fun together when she joined us in New Orleans exploring what makes ÑO so special .  So glad Jill and Larry Jr. were there to support their Mom during her last days.
