schools and Kensington High School. She received an associate’s degree from Bryant and Stratton Business College. Upon moving to Kansas in 1991, Denise joined Security
Benefit and was employed in various positions there until December 2019. She married her husband Jerry in July 1996 and remained a loving wife until the end.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Saskowski, her sons Jacob and Joshua, her mother, Josephine McClure, her sisters Cathy Ross and Diana (Joe) Borynski, her sisters-at-heart, Jan Safarik and Linda Bush, in laws Joe Borynski, Paul and Donna Saskowski, Neal and Janet Saskowski, Alan and Mary Saskowski, Dan and Kim Saskowski, Mary Jo

Denise always felt her biggest accomplishment & joy was her two sons. She also was always there for everyone whether they were old friends or someone she just met. She
was involved in a number of charitable causes, including being a 20 year volunteer with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. She also took great joy in teaching civics
classes through Junior Achievement while her sons were in school.

Denise accepted her affliction as a part of God’s plan. Cancer attacked her body, but it couldn’t affect her mind, her heart or her soul.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Midland Care Hospice at https://www.midlandcareconnection.org/get-involved/support-our-work/waystogive/donate-online/ or the charity of the donor’s choice.

All are welcome to attend.
