Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin & Friend
Emily Frances Klabough, 27 of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on March 24, 2026, at 6:23 P.M., at the home of her Aunt Bev and cousin Nicole, after being placed on hospice.
Emily was born on August 14, 1998, in Anaheim, California, to Edward and Susan Klabough.
Emily was known for her beautiful smile that could light up any room the moment she walked in. She had a loving and caring personality that touched everyone who knew her. Being both a big and little sister was such a meaningful part of who she was, and she embraced those roles with deep love and pride. Emily was truly a beautiful person inside and out.
Emily is survived by her mother, Susan Balch; her big sister Allyson Klabough and fiancé John Villaran; her; little sister, Katelyn Balch; her beloved nephew, Mateo; and her nieces, Scarlett and Rosealynn.
She is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Susan Kelly, Beverly Shriver, Kathy (Richard) Graham, and Robert (Joan) Klabough.
Emily was a cherished cousin to Chris (Dan) Darmofal, Erin Kelly, Teresa (Matt) Wolff, Nicole Shriver, Courtney (Wade) Rickenbrode, Zachary (Jocelyn) Graham, Scotty Kelly, Sierrah Kelly, Jacob Shriver, Garrett Wolff, Liam and Jack Rickenbrode, and Akiah Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Klabough, and her grandmother, Virginia Klabough.
Emily will be remembered for her radiant smile, her kind heart, and the love she gave so freely to her family and everyone around her. Her presence brought light and warmth, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.
