Karl E. Hummel, 86, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away peacefully in the home, Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born January 5, 1934, in Topeka. Initially meeting when young children, he married his childhood sweetheart on May 31, 1953, and was married for 66 years. He retired from AT&T with 20 years on August 12, 1986. He also enjoyed working at Stephens Cycle, where he was a manager; and for most of his life he was an avid cyclist.
It was at this time he helped form and was a founding charter member of what is now Kaw Valley Bicycle Club in 1971. He enjoyed biking in cross country trails all across America. He loved participating in and watching other sports.

Ken Smith (77) of Topeka passed away March 27, 2020 at Medicalodge of Kansas in KC, Ks. He was born November 27,1942 in Manhattan Ks to Myrl Pearl Smith and Gertrude Mae (Lewis) Smith. He graduated from East Topeka Jr. H.S. and Topeka High in 1960. In 1962 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was a corpsman. He served two tours in Vietnam Nam. Returning to the USA he and his family lived in Blaine, WA. Where he was on the Blaine city police force before moving home to Topeka.
Ken is survived by his wife Rosemary( McGirr Patterson) Smith and her son John Mark Patterson of the home. He is also survived by his three sons Jeffrey, Randy, Matt, and three grandchildren Alisa, Alex, and Mic all of Bellingham, Washington. He is also survived by two sisters Linda Everly and Virginia Payne of Topeka, two brothers Ronnie (North Platt, Nebraska) and Gerald of Topeka and golf partner John Dougan of Topeka and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death his parents and brothers William (Topeka) and Chester (Colorado Springs Co.).

Norman Randolph “Randy” White, 63, Topeka, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at The House at Midland Care. He was born in Topeka on August 18, 1956. Randy graduated from Topeka High School in 1974 and from Washburn University in 1983. He spent his life in Topeka making many friends while bartending, and working as a technical stagehand at regional venues like Kemper Arena, Lied Center, McCain Auditorium, Sprint Center, Topeka Civic Theatre, Topeka Expo Center, and Topeka Performing Arts Center.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Doris Lavon White in 2003 and maternal grandparents Jack and Peggy Dotson; his biological father Raymond Carl Simons in 1997 and paternal grandparents Chuck and Cecil Simons. He is survived by his adopted father and step-mother, Leland and Moni White of Florida and step siblings in Florida and Texas; his half-brother Butch Murdock and step sisters of Colorado Springs; paternal cousins in Kansas and Texas; and lifelong friend Vikki Royer.

Princess Angel Galvan-Garcia, 35, of Topeka, passed away Fri., March 20, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She spent her life caring for others personally and professionally. She was preceded in death by her father John Morgan and her grandfather's Juan Gonzales Sr. and Chema Sanchez.
She is survived by her parents Rick and Niomi Burget, brothers Randy Morgan and Patrick (Robyn) Burget, sister Amanda Burget, and her grandmother's Marcela Gonzales and Socorro Morgan, aunts, uncles, cousins and her partner Mike Powell.
At her request cremation has taken place. Due to circumstances funeral arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Midland Hospice in her memory.

Jeanie Spiker born on June 18, 1969, in Topeka, Kansas, left her earthly body on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, in Holton, Kansas at age 50.
Jeanie was a mother, cosmetologist and caring neighbor. She always had a dog and she loved all animals, especially zebras, making it her décor of choice.
She leaves behind her daughter, Corey Nordyke, of Holton, her parents, Don and Marty Warren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one brother, Donald Warren of Phoenix, Arizona, and her little dog Chloe.

Deborah E Meggison (Debbie) Age 58 passed away unexpectedly on March 18 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on January 11, 1962 in Topeka, KS. Debbie married Robert Meggison on March 21, 1986 in Lawrence, KS he survives.
